Strategic Integration of Primary Health Care and Acute Care

An inspiring Strategic Planning Forum and Charette was held on June 9, 2009 with Keynote Speaker Jeanne Besner, RN, BScN, MHSA, PhD (Nursing), Chair of the Health Council of Canada.

A Primary Outcome from the Forum was the mandate for the RHSN Council of Governors and its Health Care Integration Committee to facilitate the development of  local “Health Alliances” to move the Primary Health Care and Acute Health Care Integration Demonstration Projects forward.
